Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui and Ally Brooke Hernandez are apparently making new music…
The Latina singers and their fellow Fifth Harmony members are heading back to the studio.
“We’re about to start recording our new album the day after tomorrow,” Cabello revealed to Billboard backstage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2015 over the weekend.
“We’ve heard some of the demos and we’re really, really excited about some of them,” Cabello said about their sophomore album, which will follow up their debut, Reflection.
“They’re really, really cool. I heard one the other day that I was like, that was probably my favorite song that we’re gonna record.”
The group will begin recording in Los Angeles.
Fifth Harmony is still making strides with Reflection’s third single, “Worth It,” featuring Kid Ink, which has peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Though the song’s bouncy appeal is clear, Cabello credits their Harmonizers with making it a success.
“I think it was really the fans that propelled that song,” said Cabello. “They requested it on the radio stations and they were so driven for us to have a successful song on the radio. We have a really, really passionate core group fanbase and I think they just worked that. They were just on it.”
