You’ll have two ways to watch Carlos López Estrada’s latest project next spring.
Disney has announced plans to release the 32-year-old Mexican director’s upcoming animated feature Raya and the Last Dragon both in theaters and on Disney+ premiere access.
The highly anticipated film is currently slated for a March 12 release.
Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution boss Kareem Daniel dropped the news during the studio’s virtual Investor.
Raya is directed by Don Hall and Estrada. The film is set in Lumandra, a re-imagined Earth inhabited by an ancient civilization, where a warrior named Raya is determined to find the last dragon.
