JoJorevealed on Instagram that her good to knowcut, “Lonely Hearts,” will be getting a fresh take with the help of the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer.
The song’s subject matter is a perfect fit for Lovato, who is no stranger to songs encouraging self-love and putting yourself first. “How can I work on me if I’m working on your body? / I thought we were meant to be, but we never really got it, did we? / I know one thing, lonely hearts won’t break,” the chorus proclaims.
“‘Lonely Hearts (Remix)‘ w the INCREDIBLE Demi Lovato. I can’t wait for you to hear her on this,” JoJo wrote in the caption of a side-by-side photo of the two vocal powerhouses.
“ps- you’re a real one baëb,” she added as a message to Lovato.
The “Lonely Hearts” remix will be released on Friday, August 28.
