Ferran Adrià’s story is headed to the big screen…
Vendome Pictures has announced plans to produce and finance El Bulli, a film based on the life of the 50-year-old Spanish chef, who served as the head chef of the iconic El Bulli restaurant in Roses on Spain’s Costa Brava.
Adrià, who taught a culinary physics course at Harvard University in the fall of 2010, is considered one of the greatest chefs in the world.
The El Bulli script was written by David Wilson and inspired by the Lisa Abend book The Sorcerer’s Apprentices: A Season In the Kitchen at Ferran Adria’s El Bulli.
