Talia Joy Castellano may be gone, but she’ll never be forgotten…

The 13-year-old Latina YouTube beauty guru, who inspired millions with her story on The Ellen Show, has died of cancer.

Back in March, Castellano broke the news to her fans and friends that her cancer was deemed terminal, and she used social media to stay in touch in the months that followed.

“When I talk to people about the way I feel about death or my cancer, the way I talk is very explicit because I face reality,” wrote Castellano. “It’s not like I’m happy or something; it’s that I face reality and I’m truthful, but I believe that I can fight it and I believe that I can beat the crap out of cancer.”

On Sunday, Talia’s Facebook page featured the following update about the ailing girl’s condition, saying:

“Talia woke up again today and looked a bit uncomfortable so Talia’s Mom and the nurse moved her and tucked pillows behind her back and legs. Talia’s Mom then said ‘try and sleep and rest’ and Talia responded, ‘I am trying, but you keep bothering me.’… Lol, that’s Talia for you.”

On Tuesday afternoon, the Angels For Talia page posted the following update, saying:

“It is with a heavy heart that we share with all of you that Talia has earned her wings at 11:22am. Please lift her beautiful soul, her beautiful light to heaven and please send your love and prayers to her family during this most difficult time. God speed little one, may you be free from pain and suffering, may your soul feel the light and love that you brought to so many of us on this Earth during the short time you were her with us. We will miss you more than you will ever know baby girl.”
