Carla Morrison is celebrating a special Hollywood honor…
The 37-year-old Mexican Grammy– and Latin Grammy-winning indie-pop guitarist and singer won the award for Song – Documentary Film at the 2023 Hollywood Music in Media Awards, which were presented on Wednesday, November 15 at The Avalon in Los Angeles.
Morrison won the award for “Todo Fue Por Amor” from the film From With This Light. In addition to performing the song, she co-wrote the track with Juan Alejandro Jimenez Perez and Mario Demian Jimenez Perez.
Meanwhile, Juan Carlos Enriquez picked up the award for Score – Short Film (Live Action).
The 33-year-old Mexican musical composer won for his work on the action-packed film Huracan Ramirez vs. La Piñata Enchilada.
