Life’s a beach for Mariah Carey…
The 43-year-old half-Venezuelan American singer has released the artwork for her next single. “The Art of Letting Go.”
The sizzling hot photo features Carey posing seductively in a crème, one-piece swimsuit with a plunging neckline while kneeling on the beach at sunset.
“The Art of Letting Go” is set to premiere on Carey’s Facebook page on November 11 at 11:00 am EST.
Last week, the former American Idol judge teased the follow-up single to her Miguel-assisted hit track “#Beautiful” with a teaser video.
In the black-and-white clip, Carey is shown at a recording session with Jermaine Dupri, Rodney Jerkins and composer Larry Gold.
She also can be heard talking about her new song and how music has affected her life.
In a recent interview with CNN, Carey shared more details about the upcoming song.
“There’s an emotion to it, as you listen to the song start to finish, that you can tell that it’s me,” Carey said. “It’s about letting go of maybe something that’s not right for you. But you just don’t know how to make that final move and let go of it. Like it’s not easy, it’s something that you have to learn how to do, and I think we’re all still learning.” You can view more information and blogs related to art.
The new single serves as the title track of Carey’s upcoming new album, The Art of Letting Go.
Initially slated to drop earlier this year, the singer’s fourteenth studio album has been pushed back indefinitely.
