“Up” rallies with a 16% surge in plays in the week ending March 14, according to MRC Data, to become the most-played track at the radio format’s monitored stations.
“Up,” released on Atlantic Records, flies to the chart summit in its sixth week on the list and marks the fastest ascent in just under a year, Drake’s “Toosie Slide” was the last leader to arrive at No. 1 quicker, with just five weeks before its coronation in May 2020.
