Cardi Bis the belle of the Gala…

The “I Like It” rapper’s Thom Browne gown and headpiece was just too grandiose not to be camp. Channeling the Queen of Hearts, the gown featured a massive merlot train trimmed with feathers.
The train required a crew of 10-men to help her carry it up the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s steps.
The gown covered nearly a full landing of the Met’s steps, and the arms and bodice looked like they’d been wrapped in the softest down comforter.
But Cardi B wasn’t the only show stopping Latina at this year’s Met Gala…

Penelope Cruz didn’t go too camp, but she definitely looked glamorous…
The 45-year-old Spanish Oscar-winning actress looked chic in a black and white ensemble for the night’s event.

Tessa Thompson proved to be a daring fashionsita…
The 35-year-old Afro-Panamanian American actress wore a mix of leather and silk, the perfect mix of sugary sweet and badass, with its mix of delicate fabrics and black leather.
That mix of fabrics made her a total standout on the red carpet on a night full of memorable outfits.
Thompson’s unique dress was a ruffled and rouched satin midi in the softest baby pink color. the high neckline and long sleeves made it somewhat Victorian, but the details were all modern. She accessorized with opera-length, fingerless leather gloves, a leather joker, leather riding crop, and towering leather boots.
