Calibre 50 is outdistancing the competition…
The Regional Mexican band, which was formed in Sinaloa, adds a record-extending 27th No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart with “El Sueño Americano.”
Calibre 50 achieve the feat on the March 1-dated tally, as the song advances 2-1 for its first week on top.
“El Sueño Americano” crowns Regional Mexican Airplay with 6.3 million audience impressions earned in the U.S. during the February 14-20 tracking week, according to Luminate; that’s a 15% improvement in audience compared to the week prior.
With its 27th ruler, the band remains the all-time champ on the survey. Banda MS ranks second, with 21 No. 1 hits under its belt.
