The 36-year-old part-Puerto Rican Grammy-winning singer-songwriter picked up two awards during Sunday night’s BET Awards, which were presented at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Silk Sonic, Mars’ acclaimed R&B duo with Anderson .Paak, won album of the year for An Evening With Silk Sonic, as well as best group for the second year in a row.
In addition, the duo’s .Paak was named video director of the year.
