Benjamin Bratt is ready to thrill audiences…
The 51-year-old half-Peruvian American actor is set to star opposite Bryan Cranston and Diane Kruger in The Infiltrator.
The fact-based thriller, to be directed by Brad Furman, is based on the Robert Mazur autobiography with a script by Ellen Brown Furman.
The Infiltrator centers on a customs and excise agent (Cranston) who went undercover as a money launderer and infiltrated the bankers behind the Medellin drug cartel.
Bratt will portray Roberto Alcanio, the agent’s contact who dealt directly with cartel board members including Pablo Escobar.
Production is expected to begin shortly.
Bratt most recently appeared on television in Fox’s 24: Live Another Day.
