May the fourth be with Becky G…
The 25-year-old Mexican American singer/rapper and actress has logged her fourth No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart as “Bailé Con Mi Ex” rises to lead the September 10-dated ranking.
It follows her three-week champ “Mamiii,” with Karol G.
The song advances from No. 7 to lead in its 15th week on the list with a 41% increase in audience impressions, to 9.1 million, earned in the U.S. in the week ending September 4, according to Luminate.
It evicts “Mayor Que Usted” by Natti Natasha, Daddy Yankee, and Wisin & Yandel, which falls to No. 5 after its one-week reign.
“Bailé Con Mi Ex” is the fifth single from Becky G’s second Spanish-language LP Esquemas, released via Kemosabe/RCA on May 13.
It earned her a first entry and No. 1 on Latin Pop Albums, where it remained for eight weeks starting the May 28-dated list. The set concurrently arrived at No. 5 on the Top Latin Albums chart.
“Bailé Con Mi Ex” is Becky G’s fourth Latin Airplay ruler in her 19th chart visit. It arrives after she led for three weeks through “Mamiii,” her collaborative effort with Karol G. Notably, it earns Becky her first No. 1 as a solo artist, unaccompanied by any other act.
Further, “Bailé Con Mi Ex” becomes just the third No. 1 by a female soloist in 2022, after two Karol G coronations: “Sejodioto” (Feb. 12) and “Provenza” (July 9). Plus, it becomes just the seventh song by a woman, unaccompanied by any other act, to lead Latin Airplay this decade (since 2020). Here’s a recap:
Chart Date, Title, Artist
Oct. 10, 2020, “Ay, Dios Mio!,” Karol G
Feb. 13, 2021, “Bichota,” Karol G
July 3, 2021, “Telepatia,” Kali Uchis
Oct. 16, 2021, “Noches En Miami,” Natti Natasha

Beyond its Latin Airplay coronation, “Bailé Con Mi Ex” pushes 4-1 on Latin Pop Airplay also in its 15th week. Elsewhere, it moves 45-41 on the all-metric Hot Latin Songs chart where it takes the Greatest Gainer honors of the week.
