Bad Bunny’s preparing for an Astro-nomical affair.
The 27-year-old Puerto Rican rap superstar is set to perform at Travis Scott’s sold-out Astroworld festival in Houston this November.
Bad Bunny joins a lineup of headliners that includes Tame Impala, 21 Savage and more.
Travis Scott will also headline his hometown event, which runs from November 5-6 at NRG Park.
The founder will be joined throughout the weekend by Baby Keem, SZA, Lil Baby, Young Thug, Chief Keef, Roddy Rich, Sheck Wes and Don Toliver. Legends Earth, Wind & Fire will also make an appearance.
Special guests include Master P, Houston All-Stars, Yves Tumor and more with the festival theme of “Open Your Eyes to a Whole New Universe.”
Astroworld has expanded its capacity and expects to welcome 100,000 fans to Houston next month. A limited number of two-day GA tickets to the 2021 third-annual festival have been released and are on sale now starting at $350.
According to event producers, the general ticket on-sale last spring sold out in under one hour without a music performance lineup attached. Scott’s festival has sold out in advance of the lineup reveal every year since inception, although 2021 set the record for the fastest sell-out yet.
The festival has again invested significant real estate to build out an amusement park and carnival footprint for the 2021 event. This year’s fest will feature more than 30 custom carnival games and rides, including a roller coaster, ferris wheel and bumper cars. Fans participating in the carnival games will have the opportunity to win one of 100-plus different custom Astroworld prizes, which include limited-edition items that won’t be available anywhere else.
