Bad Bunnyis livin’ a stream…

The year is almost over, and Spotify has revealed its annual “Wrapped” data insights highlighting the most-streamed artists of the year, with the 25-year-old Puerto Rican Latin trap and reggaeton singer coming in as the most streamed Latino artist globally.   

Based on more than 248 million users’ listening habits across the globe, Bad Bunny comes in at No. 5 on the list of the Most Streamed Artists of 2019 around the world, behind Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grandeand Ed Sheeran. 

On the male only list, Bad Bunny comes in at No. 3, while J Balvin comes in at No. 5.

This year’s most streamed Latina artist on Spotify is Camila Cabello, who comes in at No. 4 on the Most Streamed Female Artists of 2019 global list, behindBillie Eilish, Ariana Grande and 
Taylor Swift.

Meantime, Cabello’s collaboration with Shawn Mendes, “Señorita” is the most streamed track of 2019, with more than one million streams despite only being released in late June.

In the United States, Cardi B comes in as the most streamed Latina artist of the year. The 27-year-old half-Dominican American rap sensation comes in at No. 5 on the U.S. Most Streamed Female Artists of 2019 list, behind Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande,Taylor Swift andHalsey.
