It’s a big crash for Jared Leto.
Apple TV+ has released the teaser trailer for its limited series WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork, starring the 50-year-old part-Spanish American Oscar-winning actor and Anne Hathaway.
John Requa and Glenn Ficarra directed the limited series, which was created and written by showrunners Lee Eisenberg — as part of his overall deal with Apple TV+ — and Drew Crevello, who also serve as EPs along with Requa, Ficarra, Charlie Gogolak, Hathaway, and Natalie Sandy.
WeCrashed will follow the greed-filled rise and inevitable fall of WeWork, one of the world’s most valuable startups, and the narcissists whose chaotic love made it all possible. WeWork grew from a single coworking space into a global brand worth $47 billion in under a decade. Then, in less than a year, its value plummeted. What happened?
The limited series also stars Kyle Marvin, alongside America Ferrera and O-T Fagbenle.
WeCrashed will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes on March 18, 2022, followed by new weekly installments, each Friday during its eight-episode season through April 22.
