Alejandro Sanz is ready to return to touring…
The 52-year-old Latin Grammy-winning Spanish has announced new dates for the American leg of his #LAGIRA 2021 Tour, which will bring him to 12 cities across the country beginning on October 8th.
The US tour will run throughout October and begin in Rosemont, Illinois, then continue to New York, Washington, DC, Orlando and Miami, according to a press statement.
The second part of the #LAGIRA 2021 Tour will run with four dates in Texas (Irving, Hidalgo, Houston, and El Paso) and three stops in California San Diego – Thursday October 28 at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theater – and Los Angeles and San Jose, where the US route will end on October 31.
Tickets will be on sale on Thursday April 29 at 10:00 am local time via www.alejandrosanz.com and Ticketmaster.com.
Sanz will visit the US in support of his most recent album, ELDISCO, which has won a Grammy for Best Latin Album.
Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, LAGIRA filled campuses in Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Ecuador, Paraguay and the United States.
When the pandemic began spreading around the world, in March 2020, Sanz performed via YouTube what counts as one of the first shows via broadcast on a digital platform, #LaGiraSeQuedaEnCasa, along with Juanes, and so far they have logged five million views.
