The 38-year-old Cuban American rap superstar is officially back with his new Latin album Libertad 548, released through his own label Mr. 305 Records. It marks his first-ever album as an independent artist.
Libertad 548was produced by Pitbull with Grammy-winning producers IAmChino and Jorge Gomez with Jimmy Joker.
It’s an homage to Pitbull’s father, who courageously rescued 548 Cuban refugees during the 1980 Mariel Boatlift, ushering those brave individuals to “Libertad.”
The set includes 13 tracks in collaboration with artists like Blake Shelton, Daddy Yankee, Natti Natasha, Wisin & Yandel, Prince Royce and Ludacris.
