It looks like Jesse & Joy’s latest musical project is going to the dogs… But don’t worry; it’s not at all in the way you think!
The Latin Grammy-winning Mexican brother-and-sister duo – consisting of 29-year-old Jesse Eduardo Huerta and 26-year-old Tirzah Joy Huerta – have released the official music video for their latest single “¿Con Quien Se Queda El Perro?,” from their most recent album of the same name.
The beautifully shot clip to the mid-tempo track tackles the age-old question, “Who keeps the dog after the break up?”
The beginning of the video shows a happy couple buying a cute puppy together. But as the clip progresses and the canine gets más y mas grande, the couple’s relationship starts to go south and they must ultimately decide con quien se queda el perro.
Jesse & Joy—who are nominated for five Latin Grammy awards this year, including album of the year and best contemporary pop album for Con quien se queda el perro? and for best recording and song of the year for their No. 1 single “Corre!”—appear throughout the clip.
Since its release on Monday, the music video has already logged nearly 140,000 views on Jesse & Joy’s official YouTube page.
