It’s official! Rosie Perez is heading back to television… even if it’s just for a quick stint!
The 47-year-old Puerto Rican actress will be checking in to All Saint’s Hospital on Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie” when the hit dramedy returns for its fourth season next year.
The Oscar- and Emmy-nominated actress will play Jules, a patient with an unusual diagnosis, in one episode on the series, which stars Edie Falco as a drug-addicted nurse.
But the “White Men Can’t Jump” actress isn’t the only Hispanic star making a trip to All Saint’s Hospital on “Nurse Jackie”…
Part-Cuban actor Bobby Cannavale, whose credits include “Will & Grace” and “Six Feet Under,” will appear as an intimidating hospital administrator sent by the new conglomerate that buys the financially strapped hospital to improve its efficiency and profitability.
Production is currently under way in New York on the upcoming fourth season.
