Jennifer Lopez isn’t forgetting her roots…
The 46-year-old Puerto Rican singer/actress and American Idol judge plans to bring a taste of the Bronx to Las Vegas for her residency next year.
La Lopez, who covers the November issue of Ocean Drive, reveals in the interview with the magazine how she plans to pay homage to her New York roots during her upcoming shows at Planet Hollywood.
“I want it to be a high-energy, Bronx kind of block party,” Lopez tells the publication. “The most exciting shows make you dance, and scream, and jump up and down. I want people to really let loose…. I’m just looking to do the best Jennifer Lopez show anyone has ever seen.”
J.Lo goes on sharing what else fans can expect from her residency, saying that she’ll cover different songs by fellow female singers at each concert in addition to performing her own tracks. “I want the show to be always changing, so it’s a unique experience every time – one night a Selena song, and another maybe something by Diana Ross.”
J.Lo’s residency, titled “All I Have“, is scheduled to start on January 20.
