The 42-year-old Colombian singer got his EDM over Memorial Day weekend while sharing the stage with French DJ/producer Cedric Gervais on the main stage of the fourth annual Sunset Music Festival in Tampa, Florida.
Introducing Juanes before a crowd of nearly 30,000 on the festival’s rain-soaked opening day Saturday, Gervais listed off Juanes’ many accomplishments – including having sold millions of albums and won more Latin Grammys than we can count — but not before shouting “¿Donde está mi gente Latina?”
The crowd instantly went wild — and if you look closely you can spot a few Colombian flags — as Juanes took the stage to perform “Este Amor,” his new collaboration with Gervais, as seen on the video Juanes shared on his Facebook page.
The track starts off showcasing Juanes’ vocals and slowly builds to an ethereal, fist-pumping climax.
Qué bien la pasamos en #SunsetFestival junto a Cedric Gervais. Inolvidable. #EsteAmor
