Blumhouse Productions has released the first official trailer for The Boy Next Door, starring the 45-year-old Puerto Rican actress/singer and American Idol judge.
Lopez portrays a divorced high school teacher, whose night of weakness with the young neighbor (portrayed by Ryan Guzman) who befriends her impressionable son goes all kinds of wrong in this suspense thriller when he becomes obsessed with her.
John Corbett, Ian Nelson and Kristin Chenoweth co-star in the film from director Rob Cohen and writer Barbara Curry. Universal Pictures will release the film on January 23.
