VH1 has ordered a second season of the 32-year-old part-Mexican American television personality and fashionista’s reality series Candidly Nicole to air in spring/summer 2015.
Based on Richie’s AOL online series of the same name, the show details the former Fashion Star mentor’s daily adventures and gives insight into her decisions on style, relationships, work life and everything in between.
“‘Candidly Nicole’ has surpassed every goal that we set for the launch,” said Susan Levison, EVP of Original Programming and Production for VH1. “The series increased viewers in its time period by 50 percent, attracted thousands of new viewers to the channel and shared Nicole Richie’s sharp wit and comedic flair for highlighting some of the absurdities of the real world.”
Candidly Nicole increased its time period’s Live+3 ratings in the 18-49 demo by 50% compared to the same time period last year, according to VH1.
