The first trailer for the third season of Showtime’s Homeland has been released… And it looks Morena Baccarin could be earning her second consecutive Emmy nomination…

The 34-year-old Brazilian American actress, who earned an Emmy nod for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series earlier this year, portrays Jessica Brody, the wife of United States Marine Corps Scout Sniper Nicholas Brody (Damien Lewis) on the award-winning series.

And even though she doesn’t utter a single word in the emotional trailer, Baccarin manages to draw emotion as the troubled wife and mother.

Homeland returns for season three on September 29 on Showtime.
