Oscar Isaac’s latest film will start its run in theaters just in time for the Christmas holiday…
CBS Films has announced plans to release Joel and Ethan Coen’s Inside Llewyn Davis, starring the 33-year-old half-Guatemalan/half-Cuban actor, in December.
The film will open in limited release December 6 and expand out December 20 — during the heart of awards season.
Inside Llewyn Davis takes place in the folk-music circuit in New York’s Greenwich Village in the 1960s.
Carey Mulligan, John Goodman, Garrett Hedlund, Murray Abraham and Justin Timberlake co-star.
CBS Films landed domestic distribution rights to the heavily buzzed-about film, which will compete at the Cannes Film Festival, in February. Its first screening on the Sony lot drew a music crowd, a lot of movie stars and numerous studio execs, resulting in a ton of buzz.
